Emmanuel leads the ePURE team, joining in 2013 as Director for Government Affairs responsible for public affairs in the areas of energy and environmental affairs. Prior to joining ePURE, Emmanuel was the Secretary General of the Industrial Ethanol Association for several years. In 2008, he joined UNICA, the Brazilian Sugarcane Industry Association, to open its office in Brussels. In March 2011 he joined the Danish biotech company Novozymes as Senior Manager for Public Affairs. He holds a Master Degree from the Institute of Political Studies of Bordeaux and an LL.M in European Law from the University Carlos III of Madrid. A French citizen, Emmanuel is bilingual in French and English and speaks fluent Spanish.
Craig has worked as a communications professional and journalist for more than 25 years in Brussels and Washington. He joined ePURE in December 2016 after having been news editor at Politico. Before that he was Director of Public Affairs at the European Crop Protection Association, and has also worked as Director of Political Communications for the European Photovoltaic Industry Association. His journalism career included top editorial positions with the Wall Street Journal Europe and European Voice in Brussels. He was also managing editor of Roll Call in Washington. He holds a BA in political science from Texas Christian University. A U.S. citizen whose mother tongue is English, Craig also speaks French.
Andreas joined ePURE as Government Affairs Manager in January 2014. Before joining ePURE, Andreas worked as Public Affairs Manager for the Association representing Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles (INREV). Prior to that he was a Consultant at Weber Shandwick. Andreas started his career as Trade Policy Manager for Digitaleurope, after spending six months as an intern at the European Commission DG Trade Market Access Unit. Andreas graduated in 2007 with a Masters Degree (MA) in Political Science from the University of Maastricht.
Barry joined the association in 2010 from the European Commission's office in Northern Ireland, where he worked for 2 years as a communications adviser. Before that, he worked as a political adviser in the Northern Ireland Assembly, as project officer in Belfast City Council, as adviser to a Member of the UK Parliament and interned for a US Congressman. A graduate of Queen's University Belfast, Barry holds a Bachelor Degree in Political Science & Sociology (BA) and Masters Degrees in Rural Development & Agriculture (MSc) and Law & Governance (specialising in environmental law) (LL.M).
Maya is responsible for the office management of ePURE, focusing particularly on accounting, financials and administrative issues. She joined the ePURE office in Brussels in February 2015. Prior to that, she has been an EU Affairs Associate with Japan Tobacco International (JTI) and had also worked for the DG Research & Innovation at the European Commission as well as at the International Law firm Gide Loyrette Nouel (GLN). Maya is Belgian and half-Lebanese. Maya holds a Bachelors Degree in Management/Secretarial Studies and has 8 years' experience in that field.
Angelina joined ePURE in October 2015 and supports its public affairs in the areas of energy and environmental affairs. Prior to that, she worked for the European Commission DG ENER, the European Geothermal Energy Council and the Permanent Representation of Poland to the EU. Angelina holds Master Degrees in International Relations from Cracow University of Economics and in International Business Economics and Management from Hogeschool Universiteit Brussel. She is also a graduate of Pedagogical University of Cracow in Renewable Energy (Postgraduate studies). She is fluent in Polish, English and German.
Victor joined ePURE as Technical Affairs Manager in August 2016. Before this, he worked in the Oil and Gas sector, first as a Safety Engineer and then in Supply and Trading. He holds a MSc. in Energy Products and Converters from IFP School in Paris, a MSc. in Chemical Engineering and General Chemistry from Chimie ParisTech and a MSc. in Chemical Engineering from Paris VI University. A French citizen, Victor is fluent in French and English.
