Dutch government proposes E10 mandate

06.04.2017

The Environmental Ministry of the Netherlands has submitted a proposal to the Lower House of Parliament for a national E10 mandate.

The Ministry has moved to introduce E10 to help the Netherlands meet the targets under the Renewable Energy Directive and stated that E10 would be the most promising option to meet the EU 2020 targets.

The Ministry predicts that only 10% of cars on the Dutch market are not compatible with E10.
